Case closed

Today Mrs. Taaffe came into the Whetu to confess that she committed the crime of the stolen chocolates and the HDMI cord. We had questions to back us up.

She said that she did it on Sunday the 11th of October, at our Whetu classroom the Milkey way and that she stole the chocolates because she was hungry and that she needed the HDMI.

She said that she went into the office and set of the alarm then walked into the class room got the HDMI cord and saw the milkey way bars so she ate 18 chococlates but then herd someone coming so she tryed to get out but she was in such a hurry she broke the glass and cut her self on the window bit of the door she got out of the class room and ran really fast and hid behind the bushes so she could chek that the door cliked so she knew it closed.

We solved the case!!!

Athletics Day 2020

On Tuesday it was Athletics. We did Athletics on the Ngatea demain. The first event we did was the long jump,  it wasn't hard running up to the mat and jumping off it but it was hard landing far in the sand. Then we did 100 meters, shot put, high jump and then in the middle of high jump we could choose if we wanted to do the 800 meters, I chose to do that. Then we did the 200 meters.

I did pretty well in the long jump but I didn't get a placing. My longest jump was 3.58

The 100 meters was easy but I didn't get a place. I was nerves before we did the race.

shot put was kind of hard to do but it started to get pretty easy. I felt pretty good before I started.

The high jump was hard to do because it felt like the bar was higher because the mat was lower. I felt pretty nerves before doing it. and I missed the pole every time but I kept going till I had all my turns and I never gave up.

I used a lot of Being me before the races and after the race's and lots of Excellence and The easiest event was 100 meters.

I also Participated in the 10 and 11-year-olds relays.

Fantastic Fingerprints

This is my Fantastic fingerprints we did for our crime investigation. It wasn't hard but it wasn't easy. My right-pointing finger turned out really good.
we had to put our finger in ink and then put it on the piece of paper and then figure out what print you had, I had a whorl on both pointing fingers. Then I had four loops and four arches.

Cooking Reflection (op-in workshops)

This week I joined the cooking group

On the first day, we went through all of the cooking hazards and what to do and what to not do and we had to decided what vegetables we had to bring to put in the soup.

On the second day, we started chopping up the vegetables and putting them in the pot I have brung Broccoli.

On the third day, we sat down and then the teacher called us up to get our soup and bread I didn’t like the soup that much but I had two cups full of soup it was good.

The part that I liked the most was eating the bread and putting the chilli on the soup.
