Maths mystery naughty gnomes.

For this week on whoogle I first decided to do the maths mystery and the maths mystery was called The mystery of the naughty gnome. the challenging part was the fish clue but I manged to work it out. the rest of the clues where pretty easy for me. I did the maths mystery by myself and worked out all the clues pretty fast.

The answers to the clues:

Clue 1. The naughty gnome is male.

Clue 2. The gnome is less than 30cm.

Clue 3. The gnome was standing.

Clue 4. The gnome has a cap on.

WHO IS IT: Captain Steve

emoji blog challenge.

for our choices on whoogle I chose The emoji challenge. At first I thought that I had to recreate emojis and then Miss Mac told me that we had to make our own emojis. So I decided to make an princess emoji it was hard to do the hair the face and the dress. I think it turned out great and that I worked hard on it.

Whetu Catapult Challenge with Jessie, Madeleine and Marley!

Whetu Catapult Challenge!

At school we had a catapult challenge, its where you make a catapult out of different types of materials and you where in a group of 1, 2 or 3 to see if the catapult worked. if it didn't work you had to try remake a new one. if it did work you had to try to make your catapult go the furthest out of all the other catapults.

The people that where in my group was Madeleine, Marley and me we used a spoon, rubber bands and Popsicle sticks. The challenging thing was tying the rubber bands to the Popsicle sticks because you had to be careful it didn't snap. I wasn't in the photo because I had a Music lesson but Madeleine and Marley helped make the rest of the catapult. when we flung the catapult in the highest competition we didn't make it in the finals or the semi finals. but when we flung the catapult in the further-est competition we came in the semi finals but we didn't make it in the finals.

I think the catapult turned out great and we worked hard on it.

Jessie's week 1 Reflection

Week 1 Reflection

What has been my highlight this week seeing my my friends and having a nice chat with them.

What was I nervous about this week making sure I brought every thing to school.

For dress up day I dressed up as I dressed up as a pink ballet onisie.

The funniest thing has has happened this week is seeing every one dressed up.

I think the best dressed person was Scarlett because she was a pirate and she looked fierce.

Milk bottle creations

For offline Wednesday we made creations out of milk bottles. At first I didn't know what to make but then I decided to make a puffer fish it was really hard getting the shape of the puffer fish but I got the shape and it looks great. It was hard painting the puffer fish because you had to hold the milk bottle well you painted it. I made a mouth out of the milk bottle lid and I made it so you could open and close the puffer fish so I can sneak chocolates in it. And it turned out great!

Murder mystery maths challenge

for the maths challenge we had to do a murder mystery. where you had to work out the clues and you should be left with suspects . I had two suspects they were, Rudy George and Freda Ballard I worked it out by solving the clue. The clue: The murderer has a large moustache. I worked it out because only males grow moustache's and Freda Ballard was a female so that could only mean one thing. That Rudy George was the murderer!!!

Chapter challenge W4 T2

For this week I chose the activity "bake". You had to make some home baking to give to the doctors and nurses who looked after Fudge. I decided to make a pavlova with passionfruit sauce. When we finely made the pavlova it was delicious! My favourite part of the pavlova was the passionfruit sauce. I think it turned out great!.
