Tennis ball tower challenge!

Tennis ball tower challenge!

Today for our Whetu Challenge we worked in a group to build a tower out of newspaper, 2 straws and
sellotape. We needed to make our tower strong enough to hold a tennis ball and be able to
stand alone (not leaning on anything or needing support).

Today I worked with Madeleine and Roanne.

At first we had trouble with building the flat plat form with the news paper because the news paper was
really flimsy. It was also hard to make our tower stand up as well as making sure that the tennis ball would
hold because it kept on falling of the tower.

The easiest thing was probably building the long news paper rolls with Madeleine and Roanne.

The best part of our tower was the owl face. We decided to make a owl face because we had to make
our tower creative or tall or really strong. We thought that the shape of the tower would fit an owl face on it.

Our tower looked nice with the owl face I wouldn't say that it looked the best but it was ok.

In the end it turned out great and we worked hard on it and it turned out all Great.
